Going Global – International Job Seekers Resource

The Career Services Center, in conjunction with the Office of Alumni Affairs and the Institute for Global Initiatives, is pleased to offer students and alumni access to Going Global, a leading provider of country–specific employment and career information. The Going Global website can be accessed from any on–campus computer; off–campus access is also available through your OwlLink account (Going Global is listed under the Jobs menu in the top navigation bar).


Going Global includes more than 35,000 country–specific career and employment resources, and provides access to thousands of international job and internship listings. The site is intended for international job seekers of all nationalities, and is useful for both US students going abroad and for international students in the US. Our subscription offers access to the following sections:

Country Career Guides
Going Global Country Career Guides are the ultimate international job seeker’s guide! Updated continually, this massive research tool contains more than 10,000 resources for finding employment at home and abroad. Developed by a worldwide team of career specialists, each country covers:

  • Business resources and networking groups

Key Employer Directory
The Global Key Employer Directory contains corporate listings of leading local and multinational employers in 31 countries around the globe. Over 25,000 listings have been specially selected to reflect companies where professional opportunities are more likely to be available. Company information includes:
  • Full official name of the company
  • Type of company
  • Description of company activities
  • Number of employees
  • Latest financial figures available (sales, etc)
  • Names of company officers
  • NAICS category (North American Industry Classification System)
  • Mailing address
  • Telephone, fax, website

Job Postings and Internship Listings
Going Global Daily Job Postings include more than 100,000 worldwide internship and job listings and feature employment opportunities that can be searched worldwide by country, industry and key word. In addition, you can search postings in foreign languages as well as receive job alert notifications for new postings (by clicking on the link called Create Search Agent). All job postings are updated daily.


Global Chat
