Marc Holcomb, Experiential Education Associate
I have been a part of the Experiential Education program in The Career Services
Center at Kennesaw State University since August of 2007. A large portion of
what I do here is upkeep for students, such as managing WebCT Vista courses for
students participating in cooperative education as well as maintaining student
files and databases for the program.
It is my belief that Experiential Education is essential when it comes
to making the major decision of a career path. Most students find it difficult
at the age of 18 to decide what they are going to do for the rest of their lives.
Participating in cooperative education or an internship helps a student make a
decision by allowing him/her to really experience life in a career. My goal is
to make the process of getting into that experience as stress free as possible.
I have a Bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University and plan
to pursue a Master’s degree in the near future.
