State Personnel Administration Testing for State Jobs
November 15, 2007 9:30 am – 1:30 pm

Recruiters from the State Personnel Administration (formerly Georgia Merit System)
will be on campus to make an information presentation about jobs with the State of Georgia
and to administer tests required
or recommended for several State positions. Students interested in taking one of the exams must meet
the following criteria:
- You must be within 3 months of your graduation date for a Bachelor’s degree.
- You must pre–register with The Career Services Center for the exam; to register, log into your
OwlLink (Symplicity) account and
click the "GA Merit Testing" quicklink. The registration deadline is 4:00 p.m. November 14th.
- You must set up a UserID on the State’s job posting website and apply for the jobs for which you are testing,
prior to taking the test. You will need to bring the UserID generated by the system with you
on the 15th.
The Job Information presentation begins at 9:30 a.m. the 15th (please plan to arrive
around 9:15); tests will be administered immediately following the presentation and will run no later

50 employers, 12 colleges and schools, and six to eight service organizations. Last
year, hundreds of jobseekers participated and more than 100 people found new jobs there.

Solutions, Radio Shack, Metro PCS, Wal–Mart, WellStar Health System, Wells Fargo
