Alliance for Non–Profit Management 2007 Annual Conference
July 18–20, 2007

This year’s conference theme – “Pathways to Nonprofit Success” – will focus on cutting edge topics for nonprofit decision makers and capacity builders (consultants, grantmakers, researchers and educators) as they sharpen their skills and forge valuable connections. Space Career Fair

The Space Foundation will be hosting its fourth annual Space Career Fair for college students studying science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and business administration. Company representatives will be available to discuss current career opportunities, industry trends, and upcoming civil, commercial, and national security needs in the space industry. Pre–registration is required (deadline for registration is Friday, April 6, 2007). Fee of $12 covers registration, use of the Space Career Fair Cybercenter, and afternoon access to the 23rd National Space Symposium – Ball Aerospace Exhibit Center. First 300 paid registrants receive a free Broadmoor buffet–style lunch. Valid photo student ID is required for admission.

The Atlanta Chapter of The Institute of Internal Auditors will be conducting a Student Day Event specifically intended for Juniors and Seniors majoring in Accounting or Finance who are interested in an opportunity to network and seek job opportunities and internships. The event includes an Audit Career Panel Discussion, followed by a buffet lunch with guest speaker, and a career fair in the afternoon. This event is free for students; however, you must register in advance for lunch. Students may submit their resumes in advance to be distributed to all sponsoring organizations, but it is not required. Career Conversations: What Can I Do With My Chemistry/Biochemistry Degree?

Georgia Merit Testing for State Jobs

Recruiters from The Georgia Merit System will be on campus to administer tests required or recommended for several State positions. Students interested in taking one of the exams must register with The Career Services Center. Additionally, students must set up a UserID on the State's job posting website and apply for the jobs for which they will be testing, prior to taking the test.
