Posting a Job
The Career Services Center at Kennesaw State University is pleased to
offer OwlLink, a free web–based system (powered by Symplicity) for employers
to post full–time, internship, co–op and part–time job
opportunities for current KSU Students and Alumni. This system allows you to:
- Post your job opportunities on our website.
- Schedule on–campus recruiting date.
- Monitor resume submittals and interview sign–ups
- Review resumes & select interviewees
- View resume books
- Register for Career Fairs
- Participate in the Professional Network
Getting Started
- In order to use the OwlLink system, you must first register:

- Your user name will be your e–mail address.
- You will be assigned an initial password which you will be able to change.
- Please note: Your password is not viewable in the system.
Please choose a password you will remember and/or write it down. Neither you
nor our office will be able to view it from your account.
- If you forget your password, please click on the “Forgot my Password”
tab on the OwlLink login page to have your password reset and e–mailed to you.
HOW TO POST YOUR NON–OCR POSITION
Non–OCR (On–Campus Recruiting) jobs are those which won’t need
an interview schedule because interviews are not being held at KSU.

- Log into your OwlLink (Symplicity) account: Click here to log into OwlLink
- From your home page click the Quick Link – Create Non–OCR
Job Posting OR you can click jobs in the
top navigation bar, then click the Add New button.
- Complete the New Job form. Some of the fields include:
- Job Description: Please provide as much information as
possible.
- Resume Submission: You can choose how you want to receive submitted resumes:
- E–mail: resumes will be e–mailed to you as they are submitted.
- Online: you will log into your Symplicity account, click jobs
in the top navigation bar, then click the Student Resumes tab to
see applicant’s names and resumes.
- Start Date: Choose the date you’d like your job posting to become
available to applicants.
- Expiration Date: the date your posting will no longer be available to
applicants (default is 30 days).
- Position Type
- GPA: If you don’t have a minimum GPA requirement, you can enter 0.00
- Graduation Date Start: Select the earliest graduation date you will consider
(please remember to consider recent alumni when choosing the Graduation Start Date).
- Graduation Date End: Select the latest graduation date you will consider.
- Work Authorization: Select work authorization(s) your organization is
allowed to consider. (Multiple selections can be made by holding the Ctrl
key down as you click your choices.)
- Desired Majors: Choose all majors you’re interested in interviewing.
- Click the Submit button when your posting is ready.
Please note: Your job will be pending until
we have reviewed it. When it has been approved, you will see a green checkmark
(
) in the Approved column. You will also be
sent an e–mail confirmation.
Things to Keep in Mind
- To post a job at Kennesaw State University only, there is no charge.
However, if you want the job posting to appear at multiple NACElink schools, there is a fee
(schedule
of fees) charged by NACElink.
- Keep in mind that the more qualifiers you require (i.e., GPA,
graduation date, major, etc.), the fewer resumes you will receive.
- If you mark a job as “Restricted”, only those students who meet
your criteria exactly will be able to submit resumes.
- Students are always interested in any salary information you may provide.
